Hi, my name is Ivyanna! I studied Spanish and Latin American Studies. In the spring semester of my junior year I studied abroad in Peru, mainly in Cusco. However, I also visited various other cities and attractions in Peru like Machu Picchu, Taquile Island and the Amazon. I was very excited to explore more about indigenous communities, especially the role of indigenous women in climate justice. In addition to my interest in indigenous communities and languages, I am a tree-hugger, proud vegetarian, food enthusiast and lover of animals. I couldn't wait to share this once in a lifetime journey with all of you!
