Belinda is the program manager for Temple in Spain and faculty-led summer programs. She also advises students in the Colleges of Science and Technology, Education and Public Health who are seeking study abroad opportunities.
Belinda grew up in Colorado, Wyoming, Kansas, and rural Pennsylvania before coming to Philadelphia to attend Temple. Her interest in international education started when she studied abroad in Mexico as part of Temple's Latin American Studies Semester during her junior year. She holds a B.A. in Anthropology and an Ed. M. in Educational Psychology, both from Temple University.
Outside of work, Belinda enjoys spending time with her partner Eric and their two wild and crazy boys.
What do you remember most about your study abroad experience?
“The experience was transformative in ways I didn't expect--I was hoping only to improve my Spanish language skills and learn about Latin American culture, but in addition I experienced a paradigm shift that really changed both my view of the world and my identity as a North American.”
