Global Temple Conference

Global Temple Conference

Each Fall semester, Temple University holds a day-long symposium to explore and celebrate Temple’s wide-ranging international work. Global Temple features student, staff and faculty research in a variety of programs and creative frameworks. Proposals in various formats are welcome, and should be organized broadly around four pillars of university excellence: scholarship, teaching, creativity, and service. Each year, Global Temple features proposals in the form of papers, panel discussions, posters, films, performances, and exhibits. Check out previous conference sessions and get more information at the Global Temple website.

Delaware Valley Re-Entry Conference

After an extended period of time abroad, you may find yourself looking for deeper meaning or to further process your experiences. Early each Spring, the Education Abroad Office joins the Delaware Valley Study Abroad Re-Entry conference to offer an opportunity for recently returned students to network with other returnees in the area. Sessions cover topics such as international employment, volunteer and non-profit opportunities abroad, graduate studies, and international opportunities in and around Philadelphia.  Students can also learn how to incorporate their international experiences into their resumé and interviews. Last year’s focus was Becoming a Global Grad. The conference will take place on Friday, February 5, 2016 at The Howard Gittis Student Center at Temple University. For more information, please visit the Delaware valley Re-Entry Conference website
