Description: 

An introductory course in microeconomics. Topics include the market system, supply and demand, cost, competition, monopoly, oligopoly, factor markets, and public goods.

Note: Students may take Economics 1101 and 1102 in any order. Although it may be usable towards graduation as a major requirement or university elective, it cannot be used to satisfy any of the university GenEd requirements. See your advisor for further information.

Pre-requisites: 

Intermediate algebra (at Temple, MATH 0702) with a minimum grade of C-, or equivalent.
