This course emphasizes the development of an active and reflective studio practice combined with the Rome experience. As the semester progresses, students identify and pursue their own projects, working independently with a collective critical structure with an emphasis on the development of a student's individual point of view. Experimentation is encouraged and there are frequent class critiques.
This course includes a weekend academic excursion to another city. The exact location will be announced in the course schedule.
