Description:
Classical approach to axial stress and strain, torsion, bending, combined stress, biaxial stress, deflection of beams and frames, elastic strain energy, pressure vessels, column stability, and buckling.
This course includes an academic excursion outside of Rome. Details will be announced in the course schedule. Note that Engineering 2332 also shares this excursion.

Engineering statics (at Temple 2331 or 2931), with a minimum grade of C-
