Description: 

Work experience in clinical and industrial settings where psychologists are employed eight hours a week under the guidance of an on-site supervisor. Students meet for seminars, and write a paper under the guidance of a Temple coordinator.

Special Notes: 

One psychology internship opportunity is available; a limited of students are selected each term.

Pre-requisites: 

Prior relevant coursework with a minimum grade of C-.

At Temple, this includes:

  • Psychology 1004, Psychology 1167, Sociology 1167, Math 1013 or Statistics 2101; and
  • Psychology 1003, Psychology 2168, Statistics 2102, or Statistics 2103; and
  • Psychology 1001, Psychology 1061, Psychology 1071, Psychology 1901, or Psychology 1996; and  
  • One course between Psychology 2000-2999. 

Non-Temple students may inquire with Education Abroad regarding their eligibility.
