In this summer program students will take one class with a faculty member from Temple University, and choose a second course in a field of their interest from the four classes offered at the Freie Universitat in Berlin (FUBiS), the university host for the program.
Courses in Track A meet on Mondays and Thursdays, and Track B course meet on Tuesdays and Fridays. Wednesday is reserved for class excursions.
All students will enroll in Track A course, CLA 2030: Special Topics in Liberal Arts III- Berlin: Experience and Reflection (3 credits) course with a faculty member from Temple University, and choose a second three-credit Track B course, from the list below, in a field of their interest from the four approved classes offered at the Freie Universitat in Berlin (FUBiS). Students will receive an in-depth look at the layers of history, culture, economics and politics that have formed the city symbolizing the strengths and complexities of modern Europe.
- Course load: two, 3-credit courses
- Temple students who successfully complete (with a C- or better) credit-bearing coursework worth at least three semester hours in an approved summer or semester study abroad program with a minimum stay abroad of 28-days will satisfy the World Society (GG) requirement.
