Dr. Singer teaches English at Temple University. He writes on aesthetics, literary theory and cultural studies as well as the visual arts. He is the author of many scholarly articles and five critical books, most recently Aesthetic Reason: Artworks and the Deliberative Ethos (2003). His new book, Posing Sex: Toward a Perceptual Ethics for Literary and Visual Art is forthcoming from Bloomsbury Press in April 2018. Dr. Singer is a member of the Graduate Creative Writing Faculty at Temple University. He is the author of five novels, most recently The Inquisitor's Tongue (2011).
