Director of the Internship Program
Originally from the Boston area, Caitlin came to Rome as a newly-minted Harvard graduate in 1997 on an internship with an international school. Pursuant to her life-changing year in Rome (where she met her now-husband), Caitlin obtained her law degree at Suffolk University Law School in Boston, spending a memorable, stimulating summer at Temple Rome Law School. Since then, she has lived in 5 countries (Australia, Pakistan, Bosnia-Herzegovina, Northern Iraq, the U.S. and back to Italy), working as a teacher, journalist and as a legal adviser for the United Nations (UNWOMEN). Caitlin is the Director of the Internship Program, which has more than quadrupled over the past two years. She is also the Associate Director at Temple Rome, and through her different roles is always looking for ways to expand our reach to a wider student-body and to continue to build connections between the city and people of Rome and our program.
