Genevieve Amaral (Ph.D. Comparative Literary Studies, Northwestern University) researches the relationship between philosophy, politics and literature, the French modern novel and avant-garde, and cinema. Her current project investigates anachronistic figures of aristocracy in French literature, film and thought of the interwar period. She has studied abroad in France, Germany, and Quebec, and led Intellectual Heritage's Global Good in Oviedo, Spain and London, England.
