Thanks to the generosity of the Maxine Edelson Elkin Endowed Lecture Fund, Iris Dawn Parker will visit Temple as part of her fall college tour. Iris taught photo students as part of the School of Media and Communication's Study Away program in South Africa last summer, a program co-directed by Assoc. Professor Karen Turner.
Temple students who participated in the summer 2014 program in Jamaica, Allison Griffin and Ellen Carney, raised funds to begin a summer camp for students with anger and agression issues. Their efforts paid off quickly--the students raised over $1200 and the first camp launched this summer.

Suzanne joined us last week as our Communications and Outreach Manager, and will focus primarily on internal (Temple) outreach, marketing and communications for study abroad. Among other tasks, her responsibilities include managing our website and social media, overseeing outreach and events on campus, and updating our publications.
