Megan Esch

My name is Megan Esch and I am a sophomore film and media arts student at Temple University. I have always been passionate about environmental issues. I was raised by an outspoken mother who protested pipelines and a father who donated to the World Wildlife Fund in my name as a birthday present. As a developing filmmaker, I have been looking for ways to incorporate my activism into my work, so when I saw this opportunity through Temple Global Green, I was ecstatic to apply.

Hello, my name is Cole Felton and I am a senior Political Science student at Temple University. I am taking my final semester of undergrad (scary!) at Temple's Japan Campus during the fall term of 2022. This is the first time I have left the continental US, so I am experiencing ambivalent emotions of giddiness and anxiety, but could not be happier to be a part of this wonderful program. My particular area of study is environment politics, specifically nature conservation politics with my future sights set on a law degree.

Hi, my name is Ali! I am a rising junior at Swarthmore College, majoring in biology and classical studies. I am very excited to study abroad at Temple's campus in Rome this semester! Working with the Temple Global Green program, I hope to conduct an ecological restoration project and study the effects of climate change on marginalized communities in Rome. I am also interested in learning more about the vast history of Italy and exploring all the historical sites it has to offer.
