Each year, three Temple students are selected to participate in the Vira I. Heinz (VIH) Program for Women in Global Leadership. Program participants receive a summer study abroad scholarship of at least $5,000.
The VIH Program, designed to prepare women leaders for tomorrow's global challenges, has three principal components: the student's summer study abroad experience, a community engagement project, and two weekend-long, intensive leadership development retreats.
Students must be sophomores or juniors at the time of application. In addition to reading all of the application instructions on the Vira I. Heinz website, all Temple students should read the Temple University supplemental information and instructions.
