Casey is a graduate of Temple University with a BA in Strategic Communication and minors in Spanish and General Business Studies. Studying abroad as an undergraduate proved to be one of the most beneficial and enjoyable parts of his time at Temple. While in college, Casey studied abroad three times, spending a summer in Northern Ireland, a semester in Spain, and a summer in Rome. His study abroad experiences were completely different, in the places he went and the subjects he studied. Casey gained a knowledge of history, language, and professional skills that he was able to apply to the rest of his studies, as well as his professional career. After returning from Spain, Casey began to work in the Education Abroad office as a Peer Advisor. In May 2018, he began his role as an Education Abroad Coordinator, where he acts as the first point of contact for students interested in studying abroad.
What do you like most about working at Education Abroad?
“Studying abroad was, without a doubt, the best part of my experience as an undergraduate. I love knowing that I play a part in helping students have their own experiences abroad, wherever they may go. I really believe that there is a perfect study abroad program for everyone, and I enjoy helping students find that program.”
