Originally from Holland, PA, Melinda is a graduate of Temple University with a BA in Political Science and Italian. Her love of Italian culture and language started at a young age, as she spent most of her summers visiting family in southern Italy, which ultimately led to her decision to study abroad at Temple Rome in 2014. Following her transformative study abroad experience in Rome, she returned to the United States wanting to share her experience with other students and began working as a Peer Advisor in the Education Abroad Office. After graduating from Temple, Melinda was selected to return to Temple Rome for a semester as a Student Life Assistant, where she assisted Temple Rome staff and students and furthered her interest in international education. Since leaving Rome, Melinda returned to Education Abroad and now serves as a Program Manager for External and select Faculty-Led programs.
In her free time, Melinda enjoys spending time with friends and family, exploring the city, trying out new recipes, and of course watching her favorite soccer team. Forza Napoli!
