Michelle has always been passionate about studying abroad. While in high school she studied abroad in Maracaibo, Venezuela. As an undergrad, Michelle participated on the Latin American Studies Semester which gave her the opportunity to study abroad in Merida, Mexico. During her senior year, Michelle, decided she wanted to go abroad again before graduating and decided to study abroad in Buenos Aires, Argentina, taking all of her courses in Spanish at a local university.

What was your most memorable experience abroad?

"I have had so many memorable experiences abroad from traveling on the highest cable car in the world to walking on a glacier in Patagonia. Ultimately, I think the most memorable thing was when Porteños (locals in Buenos Aires) didn’t believe me when I said I was from the United States (they believed I was a native Spanish speaker)!"
