Temple Exchanges in China

Global Temple Conference

As one of the world's oldest continuous civilizations, China boasts a vast geographic expanse and over 3000 years of written history, as well as a variety of rich and varied cultures. Numerous historical monuments scattered across the vast territory are vestiges of ancient Chinese culture, including the Great Wall, the Forbidden City, Xian's Terracotta Army and Tiananmen Square.

China is also the most populous country in the world with over 1.3 billion people, and is the third largest country in area with over 3.7 million square miles. The country contains vast and varied natural landscapes and resources. Because of its large population, rapidly growing economy, and extensive research and development investments, China is poised to emerge as the world's next geo-political superpower.
