*Students will be given the opportunity in their applications to petition for an exception if they do not meet each of these criteria. Petitioning does not guarantee acceptance; students who do not meet the eligibility requirements are considered on a case-by-case basis.

Temple Education Abroad understands that circumstances related to COVID-19 have presented unique challenges to students that may affect their academic progress. We will take this situation into consideration when evaluating petitions for an exception.

Students are typically notified of an admission or waitlist decision within two weeks of submitting a completed application. You can check the capacity status of upcoming programs.

Application Requirements

Temple student applicants

  • Students are required to submit a Certificate of Eligibility (pre-visa) application with their application to the program. Detailed instructions for the Certificate of Eligibility application are made available within the program application online approximately one month before the deadline, and Education Abroad will guide you through the process. Because the requirements for the Certificate of Eligibility application take time to gather, and we expect space to be limited, we encourage students to start the application for the program and for the Certificate of Eligibility well in advance of the deadline. Please view the Passports and Visas section of our website for more information and consult with our office if you have any questions.
  • Academic advisor form, available within the online application. This form must be completed by your academic advisor who will be asked to confirm your course selection for this program is appropriate for your academic plan.

Non-Temple student applicants

  • Transcripts from all colleges/universities attended since high school. Transcripts from your current institution must be official; transcripts from any previous institutions may be unofficial (unofficial transcripts may be issued from your institution or web-based from your student account, but copy and pasted versions are not acceptable). Additional submission for non-Temple art applicants

Non-Temple students who wish to enroll in art courses with prerequisites should also submit:
