    The Health Professions Special Topics course is designed to emphasize current trends and contemporary topics of interest within the various health professions. Topics will vary by semester.

  • Topic: Fieldwork in Social Services for People with Disabilities. This study abroad course is designed to engage students with consumers and users of social services in a range of service settings in and around Belgrade Serbia. Initial course meetings will provide students with an introduction to Serbian language and culture; however, the majority of course meeting time in this program will involve students attending and interacting with service recipients and providers. The program will have at least weekly group check-in meetings to discuss student experiences, reactions and progress on course assignment.
