Junior Spanish major, global studies minor and Education Abroad peer advisor, Tyler Mergen, was a part of the U.S. Foreign Service Internship Program with the Department of State this past summer.

At Education Abroad, she serves as the information session and event coordinator; her responsibilities include tabling events, as well as coordinating and presenting info sessions and classroom visits. Tyler participated in the Latin American Studies Semester in the spring of 2023, for which she traveled to Merida, Mexico for two weeks. She also spent the spring semester of 2024 in Oviedo with Temple in Spain.
