Student Advisory Committee for Education Abroad

The Student Advisory Committee for Education Abroad is a formal student body charged with supporting Education Abroad’s Mission, Vision and Values by providing suggestions, perspectives, and feedback on various aspects of Education Abroad’s operations and offerings. A key goal of the committee is to collaborate with staff to brainstorm and recommend changes that ensure study abroad services and programs are impactful, accessible, and inclusive, meeting the evolving interests and needs of Temple’s student community.

The committee provides an official way for students to work together to improve, grow, and develop Temple’s Education Abroad services and opportunities through the contribution of feedback, ideas, and solutions. Comprised of at least 12 undergraduate students, the committee represents the breadth and diversity of student academic and personal interests, perspectives, and experiences across all class levels and majors. This includes students who have already studied abroad, those planning to go, and those who do not plan to study abroad but maintain an interest in global education. Members commit to one academic year of service.
