In Spring 2023, we hosted our first-ever Stay Local Weekend at Temple Rome! We offered a full weekend of fun, interactive events and activities that incorporate a sustainability focus. Students committed to staying in Rome and to not hosting anyone from out of town for the whole weekend, and in return they participated in a variety of exciting events, from a wine tasting to a Colosseum tour, to a campus clean-up. Students had the opportunity to explore their host city better, help the planet, and win great prizes! Since then, we have continued to host a Stay Local Abroad Weekend every spring and fall.
Activities offered have included
