Education Abroad Advisory Committee

The Education Abroad & Overseas Campuses Advisory Committee is charged with supporting education abroad program development in line with the strategic priorities of Global Engagement and Education Abroad & Overseas Campuses (EAOC). A key goal of EAOC is to develop opportunities that fulfill a broad range of academic needs, represent geographic diversity, and advance access and inclusivity for under-represented students in education abroad, while maintaining academic and programmatic standards across the curriculum.

The committee serves to offer diverse perspectives on policy and program initiatives and identify opportunities and challenges for study abroad at Temple. Committee members represent and serve as a liaison to their school/college or unit on education abroad programming, initiatives, and best practice. The committee ensures approved study programs are consistent with Temple’s academic standards, align with student needs and interests, and have been reviewed and approved by the relevant academic and administrative departments of the University.
