Since its inception over 55 years ago, Temple University Rome has made a lasting impression on the lives of many students, faculty and staff.

Tyler Mergen, a Peer Advisor with Education Abroad, interned with the U.S. Department of State this past summer. Tyler studied abroad in Spain and Mexico.

The Temple in Spain program has expanded for Summer 2025 to offer special course offerings in English, as well as Spanish language courses for students with any language background.

Temple University Rome Campus has moved to new physical location at Piazza di Spagna, in the heart of one of the most historic areas of Rome.

Temple University’s Spain program launched a new fall semester for business, computer science, economics, engineering and English literature students. The program also celebrates its 20th anniversary early in the spring semester of 2024.

Representatives from partner institutions and TU Main Campus experienced the vibrant campus atmosphere and energy from the diverse student body representing about 70 countries and regions.

After more than 40 years in Tokyo, Temple University, Japan Campus will open a satellite campus in Kyoto, expanding opportunities for study abroad students in Japan. Study abroad students will now be able to choose Kyoto or Tokyo as their host city.
