| Rachel (she/her) is a junior at Temple University majoring in journalism with a minor in theatre. She is heavily involved with TUTV hosting three shows, a staff writer for REFINE magazine, and is an Eboard member for Temple's student run musical theatre club BYFY. Ever since she started applying to colleges, she knew that one of her goals was to participate in a study abroad experience. After completing her first semester at Temple, she decided to apply to the Summer I Temple Rome program. During the summer session, Rachel was enrolled in two three credit classes: Urban Dynamics and Human Behavior through Photography. Throughout her study abroad experience she took weekend trips throughout Italy visiting Florence, Milan, Venice, Pompeii, Bologna, and Lierna. While Rachel was in Rome taking classes, she used her free time to visit art museums, try new foods, explore hidden streets, and take tours of the Colosseum and the Vatican. Rachel's favorite part of her study abroad experience was having the chance to make new friends from all over the world and eating Italian food every day. |
