Designed for intermediate to advanced levels, this course offers students an opportunity to focus on dynamic qualities, movement efficiency, and expressivity when analyzing and embodying choreography that synthesizes concepts from a range of styles. Studio practice will culminate with co-creating and performing an original work. In Rome, this course is part of the 2-course dance intensive program which combines technique, performance, and choreography, with students co-creating and performing original works while developing choreography inspired by music, text, and Rome's visual art.
