    Themes in Hispanic culture in the context of short prose readings, including the short story and the short novel. Emphasis on tools for advanced reading: vocabulary recognition, comprehension of idiomatic expressions, and knowledge of advanced grammar. Includes writing and oral discussion.

  • Special Notes:

    Taught in Spanish. This course cannot be taken simultaneously with Spanish 2002. In the spring, this course is available to students on both the intermediate and advanced tracks.

  • Pre-requisites:

    Minimum grade of C- in SPAN 2096 or SPAN 2098. Students who have not completed 2096 or 2098 may take 3002 in Spain if they enroll in 2096 concurrently.
