Dr. Amelia Duffy-Tumasz is an Associate Professor in the Department of Geography, Environment and Urban Studies, and Co-Director of the Professional Science Master's in Sustainability, at Temple University. The National Science Foundation, Fulbright-IIE, Fulbright Hays, and the Society of Women Geographers have supported Dr. Duffy-Tumasz's research on gendered environmental politics and fish production systems in Senegal.
Dr. Duffy-Tumasz earned a BA in Urban Studies from the University of Pennsylvania, an MSc in Development Studies from the School of Oriental and African Studies (SOAS) at the University of London, and a PhD in Geography from Rutgers University-New Brunswick.
