Andrea Schmidt is an Assistant Professor (NTT) in the College of Liberal Arts at Temple. She is thrilled to be leading this year's Leipzig seminar. She has spent a substantial amount of time studying and doing research in Berlin and many cities in the former East Germany (Leipzig, Dresden, Jena, Chemnitz, etc). She loves the rich (and hip) cultural scene of Leipzig and its identity as an innovative student city. She cannot wait to introduce students to Zupfkuchen.
