Favorite memory from your time abroad: Los Carbayones, a.k.a. citizens of Oviedo, were extremely warm people. Because of them, I was able to walk up to almost anyone (yes, anyone) and practice my Spanish. I even became a regular at an ice cream shop near the university. There, I was able to learn the proper way to order food, which helped me carry conversations.
