Zuri Jones joined the Education Abroad team in 2022. As the advising and outreach manager, she manages the office's outreach events such as study abroad fairs, information sessions, and classroom visits as well as serving as the primary advisor for the Vira Heinz and Gilman International program scholarships. She also advises prospective study abroad students and oversees our student leadership programs including Peer Advisors, Ambassadors, and Culture and Identity Envoys.
Zuri is a Philly native from North Philadelphia. She received her undergraduate degree from West Chester University and studied abroad in Australia during her senior year. After graduating she taught English in Thailand and South Korea.
Before coming to Education Abroad, Zuri has worked in international education at a variety of Philadelphia-area universities including Arcadia University and Widener University.
In her spare time, she enjoys making and selling beaded jewelry on Etsy, spending time with her cats, traveling, and being out in nature.
What do you like about working in Education Abroad?
