Description
The Office of International Affairs at Sogang University offers the "Sogang Global Scholarship," which amounts to KRW 900,000 (50% of the dormitory fee), to a few selected students. Priority will be given to the following students:
- Students who are the first to be participating in the Sogang Exchange Program from their home institution
- Students who are under housing agreement between Sogang University and their home university
The Sogang Global Scholarship will be offered on the condition that the recipient stays at on-campus dormitory (Gonzaga Hall) for the entire period stated in the dormitiory application form.
Application Procedures
Nominated exchange students can submit a scholarship application through the Sogang Exchange Application Portal. Applicants must submit a brief essay for consideration; academic performance will also be taken into consideration.
Recipients of the scholarship will be notified via email before the semester begins. Visit Sogang's website for more information.
Eligibility Requirements
Student should be officially nominated as an exchange student to Sogang University.
Studens who will be receiving the following scholarships will not be eligible to apply for the Sogang Global Scholarship Program: Global Korea Scholarship (GKS), ASEM-DUO, JASSO and other scholarships granted by instituions in your home country.
