Once you are accepted to your study abroad program, use this application to apply for Global Storyteller positions available during your term abroad, including Blogger, Photoblogger, and Vlogger.
Education Abroad & Overseas Campuses hires study abroad students to serve as bloggers, vloggers and photobloggers for the Global Storytellers program. These positions provide the opportunity to reflect upon and share your study abroad experience with students considering or preparing to study abroad while improving your skills and deepening your intercultural learning. Education Abroad staff supervise these positions, providing guidance and feedback throughout the semester. Apply if you:
have a passion for storytelling and exploring other cultures, the ability to use constructive feedback, and an intention to fully immerse yourself in your study abroad program location.
If you plan on traveling extensively outside of your destination country, these positions may not be right for you.
have the ability and desire to provide underrepresented perspectives and/or formats: e.g. students from historically marginalized populations (students of color, students with disabilities, LGBTQ+, first generation college students, veterans); underrepresented majors, locations, and VLOG formats; planning to do an internship or fieldwork abroad; interested in exploring topics related to sustainability.
