Sylvie Antal is a program manager in the office of Education Abroad & Overseas Campuses. In her role, she works closely with the program management team to advise students, process application and visa materials, and support student health and safety throughout the study abroad process.
Prior to joining Temple, Sylvie supported research and strategic communications on digital transformation and ICT policy at a Washington DC think tank, where her role included managing university relations and coordinating the academic fellowship program. In 2024, she was awarded a Fulbright ETA grant by the U.S. Department of State to teach English and media literacy in Bulgaria. Most recently, she spent five months in East Java, Indonesia as a Visiting Research Fellow at the Centre for Human Rights, Multiculturalism and Migration, where she supported international education outreach and capacity-building.
Sylvie earned a bachelor’s degree in Information Science and master’s degree in Human-Computer Interaction from the University of Michigan’s School of Information, which included a semester abroad at the Prague University of Economics and Business. She is a first-generation American and loves to travel, having visited nearly 50 countries across five continents.
