Education Abroad & Overseas Campuses, in collaboration with Fox International and Klein EDGE, is launching the Faculty Program Development Lab as we seek to create new embedded undergraduate study abroad programs to serve Temple students.

College of Science and Technology Dean Miguel Mostafa and a group of twelve Temple students spent four weeks traveling Costa Rica and learning about sustainability topics through the Temple Summer in Costa Rica program.

Temple University has been recognized by the U.S. Department of State for producing thirteen (13) Gilman recipients this Spring 2025 cycle, a 62.5% increase over the Spring 2024 cycle, following the launch of the Apply-to-Gilman Guarantee.

The Institute of International Education (IIE) selected Temple University as one of 51 institutions to receive the IIE American Passport Project grant, enabling 25 Temple Cecil B. Moore Scholars to obtain their first U.S. passport at no cost.

After more than 40 years in Tokyo, Temple University, Japan Campus will open a satellite campus in Kyoto, expanding opportunities for study abroad students in Japan. Study abroad students will now be able to choose Kyoto or Tokyo as their host city.
