On March 16th, the City of Philadelphia imposed new restrictions on business operations to reduce the spread of Covid-19, and Temple University Leadership instructed administrative and support units to limit presence on campus to essential employees.
To that end, Education Abroad and Overseas Campuses will close its in-person operations until further notice. Our staff will begin working remotely on March 17th, and we will continue to operate virtually during normal business hours, Monday-Friday, 8:30am-5pm. Students can continue to attend Foundations of Study Abroad Online and to schedule virtual appointments with advisors.
Temple University continues to monitor the coronavirus named COVID-19. Official decisions regarding travel are made through various Temple departments including the offices of International Affairs and International Risk Management, and are based on official recommendations from the U.S. State Department, CDC, WHO, and International SOS. Education Abroad and Overseas Campuses will keep students and their families informed of any impact upon our programs and students abroad.
