Italian Language
We strongly encourage all students to study Italian language in Rome. We offer courses for students at all levels, from beginner to advanced.
- Italian 1001 is required for fall and spring semester students if you have not completed at least one semester of college-level Italian prior to arriving in Rome. You may choose between Italian 1001 or the Beginner Italian Combined courses (1001 and 1002 in one semester for 8 credits).
- Strongly encouraged for all other students. Italian language (at various levels) and literature courses are available. Learning Italian during your time in Rome will enhance your understanding of the culture and increase your ability to make personal and intellectual connections while abroad.
