Temple in Spain expands options for Summer 2025

The Temple in Spain program has expanded for Summer 2025 to offer special course offerings in English and Spanish language for students with any language background. The program will begin with an orientation in Madrid and then move to beautiful Oviedo, where students will take classes and immerse themselves in the rich culture of Asturias.

In Summer 2025, the following courses will be offered in English:

  • Communication and Social Influence: CSI 3702, Communication, Culture and Identity (3 credits)
    • Cross-listed as: CSI 457, International Studies in Media and Communication (3 credits)
  • Electrical Engineering: ECE 3432, Robotic Control using Robotic Operating Systems (ROS) (3 credits)
  • Earth and Environmental Science: EES 0854 / EES 0954 (Honors), Geology of the National Parks (3 credits) - Gen Ed Science and Technology (GS) for Temple students
  • Health Services Administration and Policy: HPM 3207, Principles of Emergency Management: A Public Health Perspective (3 credits)
  • Strategic Management: SGM 0827, Creativity and Organizational Innovation - Gen Ed Human Behavior (HB) course for Temple students

Spanish language courses will be offered from Spanish 1001 through 3000-level courses. 

If you want to go to Spain but not take 2 courses, consider enrolling in the Global Good Program and complete Intellectual Heritage II in Oviedo!
